Author Guidelines

MET Manthan

Introduction

MET Manthan is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in management, business, innovation, entrepreneurship, economics, finance, human resources, marketing, operations, information systems, sustainability, and related disciplines.

The journal welcomes original contributions from academicians, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, consultants, and postgraduate students. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic excellence, originality, and relevance.

Authors are requested to carefully follow these guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.

Types of Manuscripts Accepted

The journal accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

Original Research Articles

Empirical and theoretical studies presenting significant contributions to management knowledge.

Review Articles

Comprehensive reviews of existing literature, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Conceptual Papers

Papers proposing new theories, frameworks, models, or perspectives.

Industry, organizational, entrepreneurial, and policy-related case analyses.

Research Notes

Short communications reporting preliminary findings or emerging research.

Manuscript Preparation

Language

All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to obtain professional language editing prior to submission.

Manuscript Structure

Title Page

The title page should contain:

  • Title of the manuscript
  • Full name of all authors
  • Institutional affiliation
  • ORCID ID (recommended)
  • Corresponding author details
  • Email address
  • Contact number
  • Acknowledgements (if any)
  • Funding information (if applicable)

Important

The manuscript file submitted for peer review must not contain author-identifying information to ensure a double-blind review process.

Main Manuscript

The manuscript should be organized as follows:

Title

Clear, concise, and informative.

Abstract

The abstract should:

  • Contain 200–300 words.
  • Summarize objectives, methodology, findings, and implications.
  • Be written as a single paragraph.

Keywords

Provide 4–6 keywords immediately after the abstract.

Tables and Figures

Authors should ensure that:

  • Tables and figures are numbered consecutively.
  • Each table and figure includes a title.
  • Sources are cited where applicable.
  • Images are of publication quality (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Figures are submitted in editable formats whenever possible.

MET Manthan follows the latest edition of APA Style.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all references.

Ethical Standards

Originality

Submitted manuscripts must:

  • Be original work.
  • Not have been published previously.
  • Not be under consideration elsewhere.

Plagiarism Policy

The journal follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy.

  • Similarity Index should generally not exceed 15%.
  • No single source should exceed 3%.
  • All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts exceeding acceptable limits may be rejected without review.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage

Authors using Artificial Intelligence tools for language enhancement, data analysis, coding assistance, or manuscript preparation must disclose such use in the manuscript.

Authors remain fully responsible for:

  • Accuracy of content.
  • Originality of work.
  • Ethical compliance.
  • Interpretation of findings.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Authorship Criteria

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to:

  • Research conception and design.
  • Data collection or analysis.
  • Manuscript drafting or revision.
  • Approval of the final manuscript.

All authors must approve the submitted version.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence the research.

If no conflicts exist, authors should state:

" The authors declare no conflict of interest."

Funding Statement

Authors should disclose all funding sources supporting the research.

Example:

"This research was supported by XYZ Research Foundation under Grant No. 12345."

Research Involving Human Participants

Where applicable, authors must confirm:

  • Ethics Committee approval was obtained.
  • Participants provided informed consent.
  • Research complies with applicable ethical standards.

Data Availability Statement

Authors are encouraged to provide a statement regarding data accessibility.

Example:

"The datasets generated and analyzed during the current study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request."
